Pietro Canali

Born in Umbria, Italy and now based in Montreal, Canada, Pietro Canali is a classically trained pianist and travel photographer. He was inspired to pursue photography after discovering his grandfather’s 1950s Rolleiflex, and he has since specialized in capturing the stunning colors and vastness of nature from behind the lens. Canali’s photographs explore long exposures, abstract patterns, symmetry, pure lines, and negative space. He continues to travel in pursuit of new imagery that is worthy of being viewed and admired.
