About Briton Riviere
Briton Riviere (1840-1920) was a British artist who devoted much of his life to painting scenes with interactions between animals and people. He exhibited paintings at the Royal Academy, and his works are also featured at the Tate, Metropolitan Museum of Art, University of London, and Chrysler Museum of Art. Riviere was a great lover of dogs and also painted wild animals. Displaying Riviere’s works brings a sense of elegance and comradery to any space.
