Kim Rupe

Kim Rupe’s art is harmonious, conscious mark-making of a Zen-like modernism with a contemporary approach to what she perceives. She feels like what she sees is natural. But, she sees it in parts, shapes, and disjointed forms which she expresses through a fluidity of basic organic configurations in watercolors, giving a calming effect through nuances in the visual interest she tries to portray. It is a multidimensional space where a variety colors, shapes, ideas, and thoughts coexist.
