Anne Storno

Anne Storno is a printmaker and mixed media artist based in London. She relies on photography, drawing, paint and collage to explore the world around her. In her artworks, images are combined, removed from their original narrative context, and reconfigured into new scenarios. Her visual language embraces the brightness of Pop art. Often appropriating visual themes and incorporating these as printed motifs, she adopts a playful approach in her practice. Inspiration is found in her surroundings: colors, lines, shapes and patterns that can be found in cities, design, fashion, and trying to find humor in day to day life.
