The Cedar City Utah Temple rests on a 21-acre plot that sits high on the west side of the city, commanding a beautiful view of the mountains to the east. One of the great temple hymns, High on a Mountain Top, was written by Joel Hill Johnson while living in Enoch, Utah, a suburb of Cedar City.
