The Columbia South Carolina Temple is located in Hopkins, South Carolina. It was dedicated in December 1998 by Gordon T. Watts and again in 1999 by Gordon B. Hinckley. The temple is located in a more residential part of Columbia and the grounds include plant and flower life native to the area including crape myrtles, large holly, mums, and pine and oak trees.
