About Draper Utah Temple
The Draper Utah Temple was dedicated in 2006 by Gordon Hinckley and again in 2009 by Thomas Monson. The temple itself contains more than 35,000 pieces of hand-cut glass, all of which survived a fire while being created by Utah artist Tom Holdman. The sego lily, Utah’s state flower, is a recurring theme around the temple.
