About Idaho Falls Idaho Temple
The Idaho Falls Temple is one of the earliest temples to be created. As the 8th operating temple, it was dedicated in 1940 by David O. McKay, again in 1945 by George Albert Smith, and will be rededicated in June 2017. The temple is more than a whopping 85,000 square feet and was the first to be built in Idaho and the first to be built with a central spire.
