About Portland Oregon Temple
The Portland Oregon Temple was the first to be built in Oregon and its stunning exterior is composed of white marble and green slate from Vermont. The gardens draw many visitors daily and a fountain and infinity pool only adds to the incredible area. The temple is located in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and was dedicated in 1986 and 1989 by Gordon B. Hinckley. The visitor’s center at the temple contains a reproduction of Thorvaldsen’s Christus statue that amazes guests.
