About Washington D.C. Temple
The Washington D.C. Temple is the 16th operating temple and was originally dedicated in 1968 by Hugh Brown and again in 1974 by Spencer Kimball. It contains six ordinance rooms and 14 sealing rooms. The temple is easy to spot along the Capital Beltway in Maryland and features a reflecting pond.
