Neis Wai

Neis Wai is an abstract artist based in Sydney. Neis’ work draws on eclectic references ranging from natural history to abstract art, and her superior draftsmanship and painterly technique evoke a long tradition of skilled artisans and artists, ranging from botanical illustrators to the Old Masters. She is particularly interested in exploring themes such as emergence, complexity, and ecology.
