His photographs often explore the themes of earth, water, sky, ice, steel, and wild animals. For over three decades, Souders has traveled extensively to Alaska, Africa, Newfoundland, Peru, the Middle East, and beyond to take his photographs. Souders has won awards at the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, National Geographic Photo of the Year contest, and Big Picture Competition.</p>
