<p>9/1/1972-Over the Mekong Delta, South Vietnam: An American A-37 carrying a deadly payload of Napalm peels off towards its target 50 miles southwest of Saigon. In foreground is the wing tip of another A-37, carrying two 500-pound bombs and a rocket launcher. The aircraft are part of flight attacking an area where some 200 Communists were spotted.</p>
