This is diesel locomotive number 6505 on the Conway Scenic Railroad (CSR), a heritage railroad established in 1974 that runs through the White Mountains in New Hampshire, USA. This railroad is used mainly to transport tourists among the hills of New England to view the famous autumn foliage. Locomotive 6505 is an EMD FP9 type diesel. It was built in 1954 by General Motors Diesel, and originally used on the Canadian National Railway. 6505 was first used on the CSR in 1996, being used for over 10 years until being sold in 2010.</p>
