<p>A California native, Michael is an acclaimed landscape and seascape photographer who uses some of the same tools and post-production techniques as matte painters and concept artists at today's movie studios. Through his dramatic and impressionistic works, Michael aims to share the beauty of the California coastline.</p>
<p>Located in the southern part of Big Sur, the Big Creek Bridge is a beautiful structure that boasts two concrete arches and supports 589 feet of Highway 1. A breaking wave and pampas grass in the foreground glow in the light of the setting sun. The water's shades of blue, green and violet add a calm and soothing effect. To the right of the bridge, you can make out Highway 1 ascending the rocky coast.</p>
