<p>Tava Studios is the creation of Jane Brignola-Tava, who began her art career after studying at the School of Visual Arts, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and Parsons School of Design. She ran the Orientalia painting department at the prestigious Karl Mann Studio and learned decorative painting techniques for hand-painted textiles, murals, and wallpapers. Brignola-Tava works with acrylics and oils to create paintings for museums and galleries, and she has also painted ceiling and wall murals on historic buildings. She opened Tava Studios with her artist husband, Eugene Tava, in 1987.</p>
