<p>This is the seventh level of the world's first nuclear reactor, built by Enrico Fermi's team in Stagg Field, at the University of Chicago. This level was nothing but dead graphite, containing no uranium. Once a critical mass of pieces containing uranium were assembled, a controlled (and very low powered) nuclear reaction started.</p>
