<p>Javanese artist Aricadia joined Sanggar Bunga-Buinga Bali, an artists' community where he began to explore his skills and freedom, combining realist and impressionist techniques on canvas. This resulted in a style of painting featuring a contrast of colors that are sharp and wild.</p>

<p>Celebrating a woman's beauty, Aricadia paints a portrait of radiant sensuality. His subject is a young nude who closes her eyes while crimson lights envelop her. 'She is flying in her dream, trying to set herself free,' the artist says.</p>
