Scott Jarvie

Scott Jarvie grew up in the San Diego area and loves to travel with his camera by his side. His collection of photographs include Mormon Temples, each one lovingly captured during his excursions around the United States.

The Manti Utah Temple is the third operating temple, making it one of the oldest. It was dedicated in April 1877 by Brigham Young, in May 1888 by Wilford Woodruff, and again in 1985 by Gordon B. Hinckley. The exterior is made from limestone quarried from the surrounding area and the hill it stands on. Some remarkable features of the temple include a reflecting pool and an amphitheater where pageants and other shows are performed.
