Scott Jarvie

Scott Jarvie grew up in the San Diego area and loves to travel with his camera by his side. His collection of photographs include Mormon Temples, each one lovingly captured during his excursions around the United States.

The Newport Beach California Temple is surrounded by lush green grass, shrubs, and trees. It was dedicated in 2003 by Duane B. Gerrard and again in 2005 by Gordon B. Hinckley. It is one of two temples in the Los Angeles area. During the design and construction, the design of the building was modified to better please nearby residents and better fit the surrounding area. The outside of the building is a seashell hue to fit the coastal vibe of the Newport Beach area.
