Ursula Abresch's unique photography style can be classified as photo-impressionism, which allows for the abstraction of subjects; it makes it possible to express feelings without having to say a word, and to put down thoughts, dreams, and fleeting moments in time. She plays with color and uses it almost as if it were the subject itself.

An image made in late September in the Lake O'Hara area in British Columbia, Canada. This is in the Opabin Basin. Larches and firs are very abundant in this area, in Autumn the larches glow gold, but the firs stay dark green all year long. The mountains have a little bit of snow on them already.
