<p>Eleanor Doughty is a Seattle-based illustrator and urban sketcher. Sketchbook in hand, she travels her neighborhood and foreign countries the same way, pen in hand, eyes up. She lives with her partner in an apartment by the lake with 60 houseplants, give or take.</p>

<p>View of Queensboro Bridge from Queensbridge Park on the east side of the East River. You can see parts of Roosevelt Island and across to the skyscrapers of Midtown, including the infamous skinny 432 Park Ave building, and even a hint of the One World Trade building far to the south. I used ink and graphite and colored the drawing digitally.</p>
