Scott Jarvie

Scott Jarvie grew up in the San Diego area and loves to travel with his camera by his side. His collection of photographs include Mormon Temples, each one lovingly captured during his excursions around the United States.

The Sacramento California Temple overlooks Lake Natoma from the hill where it sits. The Sierra Nevada Mountains can be seen from the temple and the surrounding trees give it a calming vibe. The space was originally a recreational center but was transformed over the course of two years to be the 123rd operating temple. The exterior of the temple is made from a light gray granite. It was dedicated in 2004 and 2006 by Gordon B. Hinckley.
