<p>Jules Cheret (1836 1932) French native Jules Cheret, is infamous for his vibrant use of color and lively portrayal of woman (later referred to as "Cherettes") through his lithographic process of poster design and prints. As a popular advertising artist, Cheret produced poster ads for a variety of different venues and clients. Cheret's ads displayed images from cabarets and music halls to beverages, perfumes, travel ads and many other products.</p>
