New York: The mighty battleship, USS Wisconsin, is being towed under the Manhattan Bridge by tugs after she ran aground on diamond rock on the eastern tip of Manhattan today. The 35,000 ton veteran of Pacific action in World War II, was en route from the Bayonne, N.J. shipyard to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, when it got struck. Tugs freed the craft after 45 minutes.</p>
