Julie Chapman

Through her art, Julie Chapman offers a contemporary take on nature and shares the magnificence of animals on our planet. Chapman is a Montana-based artist who is inspired by the American West and all of its iconic horses, wildlife, cowboys, and cowgirls. Her paintings have a “disrupted realism” style that features fragmented subjects and a journey of abstraction. Yet the incompleteness of her subjects reveals the artist’s deep love and emotions for the animals she paints.
